Revenue District Officer Ricardo Espiritu said that so far the tax collection measures which his office has been implementing are gaining ground and Iloilo tax payers are finding the local Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Office “very helpful”.

NCMB – Iloilo: Zero strike for 1st quarter of 2005

The first quarter of 2005 was peaceful with no record of strikes in the province and city of Iloilo from establishments either commercial, industrial or educational institutions that have Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), the National Conciliation Mediation Board – Iloilo  (NCMB- Iloilo) of the Department of Labor and Employment said.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board in Region 6 revealed that it has now received two wage petitions for an across the board wage increase of P100.
