Do you support the decision of advertisers to withdraw from showbiz talk shows showing sex video scandals? Why?

TED MAGALONA
Yes, I personally agree with their decision to pull out. It should also be the case or applied to other medium, like radio, print or cable. Every business entity has the foremost responsibility to be promoting good values and morals. Each business, regardless of size and volume, should have positive and virtuous contribution in promoting what is right and fair in its respective sphere or influence.

DENNIS HOPILOS
Sex is private….

EDGAR SIA
Who knows, all that could be scripted, just to make people more curious about their show… Anything for the ratings!

ELMER PAHELGA
Definitely! It's disgusting and very disappointing to know that even the big TV networks allow these shows to pollute TV audiences with these garbage! Serves them right!

ELMER USI
Yes, it's time advertisers exert their influence on the content of TV shows by not supporting TV programs showing sex scraps just to earn high ratings. These sex videos although pixelized are still very graphic. Showing these in primetime TV increases the risk of our children being exposed to these kinds of scandals and it's just not healthy. It might also have a negative impact on the equity or image of the brands of the advertisers as they might be identified in these cheap shows.

COREL LOCSIN-YAP
I don't really mind. It depends on what kind of programs the advertisers wish to support.

JOEMARI TREÑAS
Yes. Although line between public life and private life is very blurred, I believe that as long as you don't do it in the streets and frighten the horses, it doesn't matter who (or what) you canoodle.

MICHAEL GORRICETA
Yes, because it is bad for the viewers watching the shows especially most of them are minors and teenagers.

EDUARD GABRIANA
Yes, I fully agree with them since it's being watched by children too. This could lead to public scrutiny and abuse of personal rights. It's not educational after all.

KATHY BENITO PE
NO. It's time for you (advertisers) to change your products. Try selling cellphones with videocam. I assure you of a boost sales, hehehe

JONAH JERUSALEM
By the rules of the GREAT GOD, yes I agree with them. This time let us stand firm with our faith as a nation of believers. Let us stop the prostitution that satan is slowly using to deceive us to join him and his cohorts.

RONEL BERNABE
Yes. The viewing public deserves quality TV entertainment and not cheap gimmicks concocted by these showbiz talk shows just to lure viewers. If they think its inevitable to have these kind of TV programs, they should show it in late-night time slots.

CORA BELONIO
Yes, because scandalous videos are counter to the morals of Filipinos.

SANDRA CACHO
Yes. The less publicity given such scandals the better. Maybe they will focus on positive developments and showbiz instead.

CANDY CAMPOS
Yes, a must! Instead of those lewd sex videos or the likes, advertisers should be really keenly aware there are other TV shows with substance that need support.

TINTIN VILLAR-BAYONA
Yes, because those kinds of things should not be shown on TV in the first place, for it has a negative impact to the viewers especially to minors.

RICHIE GARCIA
Yes, because some talk shows are too much, they don't have to expose the dirty side of an artist, they should limit their expose.

MICHAEL CALING
Advertisers are life blood of the said industry and I fully support their decision. We have to draw the line between what is morally right vs the ratings game. What kind of times are we living in that the rave for REALITY shows is being shoved up our faces during prime time. All in the name of money and stardom. Let their heads roll now that they don't have the sponsors.

JAY CERTEZA
Yes, It's a moral stand. Our country is already deteriorating economically and morally. If left unchecked we will be reduced to a nation of perverts.

LEONARDO PESTAÑO
In favor, why? It's porno for general consumption!

JOSEPHINE HU
Yes because the talk shows are scheduled on prime time slots. They are viewed by minors.

MALS TINSAY-LOCSIN
Support from advertisers will just encourage production of more sex videos. If ever it's shown on TV, it should only be during late at night when minors are asleep.

JOEBOY AGRIAM
Naku, some artistas have themselves to blame for being exhibitionists in their private and public lives. Respectable and decent artists are the butt of vulgar exposes.

JONALYN LIM
I still believe in the freedom of speech, and the public has the choice of what to watch. But talk shows should still have to practice decency by not to show too graphic “scandals” on TV for the sake of the minors.

MALEN LOCSIN
Yes. It's about time media act more responsible and stop our young women exposing their bodies thru the help of media.

JESS DIMAFILES
It is a laudable decision and I suggest other advertisers must do the same. These TV programs will stop at nothing just to get ahead of the ratings even at the expense of minors who watch the show.

MANDY RIVERA
If that is their way of getting their message across to the talk shows, so be it… There is no reason why we should not respect their decision.

DENNIS GARGANERA
I can't understand these morons, in the first place if they didn't allow it to be taken there'll be no sex videos to speak of. Haay kanya-kanyang gimmick lang yan!

SANDY DIZON-LIM
I support because it's bad influence to minors.

RONALD VICTORIANO
Yes, I believe that stations show sex videos to improve their ratings even though what they're showing is fake.

BEN HUR MOBO III
Definitely yes! Every advertiser has the indispensable right to withdraw its advertisement on any show it advertises its products, especially if the contractual agreement does not properly represent the products it is selling or it missed the market segment it is targeting. Most advertisers only advertise contigent on both parties fullfilling their desired end. If any of the parties feel disgruntled, one has the basic right to withdraw its support to any show on the basis of disgruntlement.

JANICE GIMENEZ
Yes, yes, yes! There's too much smut being shown on TV now and on time slots where kids are most probably watching. These shows should be taught a lesson they wouldn't forget.

REGGIE AGUILAR
Yes because showbiz talk shows do not have the capacity to present them in an objective and healthy way. The result is pornography.

DR. NOEL BINAYAS
Intelligent consumers will eventually realize which advertisers practice and show social responsibility, and products with wholesome images last longer among consumers. Consumers couldn't care less about advertisers and products that couldn't care less about their sensibility and decency.

BEBOT ESPINOSA
I support the freedom of choice. If an advertiser no longer wants to be associated with such shows, for whatever reason as long as it's legal. Then by all means.
