Dinagyang '05 recorded least number of incidents

The city's premier celebration had certainly evolved from a religious fiesta to an economic attraction, boosting the business activities particularly on food and drinks.

ABS-CBN ‘presentation' did not intend to disrupt Dinagyang

Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc (IDFI) executive director Ben Jimena admitted that there was misinterpretation on the part of television network ABS-CBN and the IDFI as regards the latter's production number during the “ati-ati” tribes contest but he clarified that “the foundation has no intention to make something that is not along the concept of the Dinagyang.”

Images of Sto.Niño in various sizes again took center stage in Dinagyang's "ati-ati" tribes competition. It was learned that some participating tribes keep on joining every year out of veneration to the Sto.Niño.
