USA union goes on strike; might face suit

Members of the University of San Agustin Employees Union begun their second strike yesterday morning.

IPPO lags in PRO 6's performance evaluation

The city and provincial police offices of Iloilo registered a poor rating in the performance evaluation of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) for the first quarter of this year.

No this is not a road. This is a dried river bed of the Miag-o River. Water tributaries everywhere in Iloilo province nowadays have been observed to have dried up as a result of the El Niño drought. There are even reports that most mountain barangays now experience a shortage of water. The Agriculture department reported that the El Niño phenomenon hitting the country, though mild, is due to last in six weeks.

Cause of drag race accident still undetermined

There is no explanation yet as to why a tragic accident happened in a drag racing competition in Brgy. Dacutan, Dumangas, Iloilo over the weekend
