MIWD conflict should be brought to court, Drilon says

Senator Franklin Drilon said yesterday the conflict between the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD) management and its previous board should be settled in court.

Cocaine available in 3 WV cities

In Western Visayas, cocaine is available in the cities of Iloilo, Bacolod and Roxas and is usually supplied by dealers coming from affluent families, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 6.

“We have reports of the proliferation of cocaine in these major cities,” Paul Ledesma, PDEA 6 officer-in-charge, told The News Today.
