DAR 6 to hold critiquing of proposals from ARCs
The Department of Agrarian Reform 6 will hold a critiquing of enterprise development project proposals from 21 presenters, who are members of their respective cooperatives in DAR’s Agrarian Reform Communities, on November 22 and 23 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.
DAR 6 Information Officer Ramona Gonzaga said the presentation and critiquing will be participated by the ARC development managers and development facilitators, as a sequel to the Basic Course in Project Development conducted last September.
The panel from DAR will include OIC Regional Director Eliasem Castillo, ARD for Administration Manuel Liboo-on, ARD for operations Felicidad Banares, Division Chiefs Ramona Gonzaga and Mercy Lagana, and Imelda Fernandez of the DAR-Asian Development Bank-Agrarian Reform Communities Project.
“The proposed projects will greatly benefit agrarian reform beneficiaries and spur development in the ARCs,” Gonzaga said.
The Basic Course in Project Development is considered a timely and adequate response to the agency’s thrust for re-skilling and competency development for field personnel.
“This is in view of improving support services to the much awaited and much anticipated paradigm shift from Land Tenure Improvement to Program Beneficiaries Development,” Gonzaga said.*PIA
