Comelec offices start accepting COC for 2010 polls

Starting today various offices of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) will be open to anybody who will file their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for next year’s national and local elections.

Fire gutted 60 houses in Antique

Around 60 houses were destroyed in a fire in Brgy. San Fernando, San Jose de Buenavista in Antique province Wednesday evening.

San Jose Mayor Ronnie Molina said that the 7 p.m. fire occurred along the coastal area mostly inhabited by Cebuano fisher folks.
