Must love trees
At the Yellow Ribbon Bikecade1.
A group of High School students from St. Scholastica Academy-Bacolod who has the passion in protecting and preserving nature call themselves mustLOVEtrees Network.
Such started with their class project in Economics when their teacher asked them to make a stand on the issue on the Energy Development Corporation's (EDC's) entry into the buffer zone of Mount Kanlaon National Park. They began doing extensive research on the issue and they interviewed people from both sides of the conflict Through the course of their research, they became interested in joining GreenWatch and got the opportunity to be part of a teleconference about the buffer zone issue. Greenwatch invited them to form the mother club of young Greenwatchers, and they gladly accepted.
