Last week I attended one of the most rewarding seminars I have ever joined and this has made a huge impact on my life and perspective. It is perhaps one of the most relevant of our times when things are evolving in such rapid rate that after awhile we tend to lose ourselves, our awareness, our focus and purpose in life.
Foundation of Leadership Excellence (FLEX) is a two-day experiential journey to self-discovery and transformation. Participants were given the opportunity to examine their values, paradigms, attitudes and behaviors and decide which ones create success so these can be nurtured. Success is learned behavior. It is repeatable. Topics in the seminar include Paradigm vs. Essence, Personal Visioning and Purpose, Motivation and Self Image, Personality and Leadership Styles, Conflict and Stress Management, Effective Communication, Mind-Body-Spirit Connection, Victim vs. Responsibility, Problem- Solving and Creativity, Moving Beyond Self-Imposed Limitations, Synergy and Teamwork.
FLEX Team Iloilo Batch 11..
It was facilitated by one of the country's most experienced coaching company, the Organizational Change Consultants International, Inc. (OCCI). The OCCI was established in July 1995, with the Vision of building "A world that works for everyone with no left out." With more than 100 years of experience among themselves in business and training, the founding directors of OCCI commited themselves to the mission of "transforming the Philippines by transforming the Filipino."
Kudos to my facilitators during the seminar. There's Chona Santos, a BS Nursing graduate of UP and is a former faculty member of the UP College of Nursing. She was a Customer Service Manager of Shoemart Home Center and Marketing Service Manager of Starpager 2000. She is currently serving as OCCI Marketing Director. Next is Max Salazar who is a BSBA graduate, Major in Hotel and Restaurant from the Holy Angel University. He has an extensive experience in Management Consulting, Customer Service, System Setup and Marketing. Mr. Salazar is currently the President of Nine Dots, Inc., and board member of the National Sari-Sari Store Consumer Coperative. Both of them gave me a "new life" so to speak.
The next seminar in Iloilo will be on Sept. 27 and 28, 2008. I highly recommend it to companies, organizations, teachers and everyone in the community to try this great opportunity. A chance to excel in everything that you desire. For more details you may log on to www.occi.seminars.com
