DOH execs in 'hot water' over region's anti-Malaria drug deal

At least 15 senior officials of the Department of Health (DOH) in Western Visayas had been called in to serve as government resource persons in a fact-finding probe of the Office of the Ombudsman in the Visayas.

MIWD sets series of dialogs in typhoid-stricken barangays

MIWD Interim General Manager Edwin Reyes said the dialog, dubbed as "Hinun-anon sa Barangay", is centered on the 16 barangays with suspected outbreaks of typhoid fever. The information caravan is necessary to educate the consumers on the importance of safe drinking water.
