Bona Fide Text
Pieces of wisdom
Most of us consider ourselves as agents of good values. There are times that we unintentionally did something different to the lives of people who surround us. We touch other people's lives in our own little way. The question is how are you going to face each day? This is my way…
I open my eyes with thankfulness to the Lord for giving again another special day. I will love the sun for it brightens the day and for it warms my bones and adding additional Vitamin D which I need. Though rain might fall in unpredicted time still it has purpose of cleansing my spirit. At night I adore the moon for it shows me the way and giving me inspiration to write beautiful poems as inspired by its beauty. I will also love the darkness for it shows me the star that glitters its way up in the sky.
I will welcome joy for it enlarges my heart to the fullest yet I will endure sadness for it opens the gateway of my depth towards my soul. I will count my rewards and stay humble yet I will welcome trials that come along the way for they are my challenge that builds me to become a better person.
I know that the tongue is the most powerful organ that causes misunderstanding among us. When I tempted to say something that may sound I am criticizing, I will zipper my mouth and hold my tongue. Yet, I will speak well of my enemies and clear things up. I will always reason out if there's really a point and never will I use excuses as the remedy of my weaknesses.
I will love all manners of people surrounding me for each has qualities to be admired even though they are hidden. I will love to talk to jeepney or taxi drivers for they too have their own sentiments and aches about life and economy. I will admire them for the strength they have in life. I will extend a hand to those who are in need. And never regret of what I've given nor announcing to the whole public to the good deed I've done.
It may sound not okay for some but I will love my ambitions for they can inspire me the most. They are inspirations toward my success in life. Also, I will acknowledge my failures for they can teach me a lot of lessons in dealing with my life. Failures help build my character and challenge me to do better the next time around. That I myself believe that the greatest glory in life is in never falling but in rising every time I fall.
I will love the young for the faith they hold and for the hope that bestowed upon them. I will recognize the old for the wisdom that they share, for the good things they teach, and for the knowledge they impart. And I will love the intelligent for they can teach me right and the indolent for I can teach them the right way to do most things.
I will love the magic words for its usage. "I love you," "I'm sorry" and "Thank you" can touch the hearts of many as I say these. I will hug those who need comfort for it may give them hope and let them realize they are not all alone.
And most of all, I will love myself. I will fill up the needs of my body, my mind, my soul and my spirit. I will be optimistic in dealing with my life as a whole. Never will I allow my heart to become bitter, greedy and selfish, rather I will share it. For I know it will be one of the best agents of spreading wisdom that can create a better earth.
