Oncoming power barge may lower power rates in city

Power consumers in the city may experience lower rate when National Power Corporation's (NPC) Power Barge (PB) 101 starts supplying power to Panay Electric Company (Peco), the city's sole power distributor, next month.

IKCI holds quadruple dog shows

DOG breeders and dog show hobbyists trooped to the PNB Multipurpose Hall last March 3 and 4 for the 83rd, 84th, 85th and 86th All-Breed Championship Dog Shows.

The Iloilo Kennel Club Inc (IKCI), an affiliate of the Philippine Canine Club Inc. (PCCI) hosted the four shows with the support of Royal Canin and Shieldgard.

The country's top dog show judges were invited. They were Robert Dawson, Dr. Jose Mendiola Jr., Ronnie Natividad and Simon Sim.

The title of the challenge is "Future Tee". How to transform 3 simple white T-shirts into one working outfit plus incorporating the ideas of urbanity, coolness, purity, futurism and striking shapes into their designs?

That was the challenge faced by the 12 designers namely: April Charmaine Clavel, Peer Lynelle Baņas, Paulo Benito Tugbang, Alfred Jor-el Espina, Robbie Philip Pacificar, Mary Rose Adelie Pacificar, Marvin Raphael Banaag, Allysa Kay Sabran, Ma. Angelica Tan, Florad John Gonzales, Neny Dawn Jover and Jigo Emmanuel Antonio.
