Mayor's bodyguard quizzed for death of Vice Mayor, two others in Tapaz

Police have taken into custody the policeman-bodyguard of Mayor Romualdo Exmundo of Tapaz town in Capiz for the shooting of Vice Mayor Victor Gardose and two others last week.

City Comelec records low turnout of registrants

For still unknown reasons the City Commission on Elections (Comelec) recorded a low turnout of registrants at the recently concluded continuing registration of voters.

Vendetta eyed in tanod outpost 'grenade’ blast

City cops are now on the look-out for two male suspects believed to have perpetrated the early morning 'grenade' blast in a barangay tanod outpost yesterday (Tuesday).

One civilian volunteer 'police', Barangay Tanod Rolando Calahatan was injured and remains in guarded condition at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Iloilo Doctors' Hospital.
