STL a legal cover-up for jueteng, says Lagdameo

2 dead as hut full of firecracker materials catches fire

Two persons were killed instantly after a hut used for making firecrakers in Brgy. San Jose, Arevalo district caught fire causing a huge explosion.

The explosion caused fire and totally razed five huts used for making firecrackers and pyrotechnics.

Mayor's birthday blackout

Work at the Iloilo City Hall was stalled Monday morning because of a black out and not because of the birthday celebration of Mayor Jerry Treñas. Iloilo City Hall lost its power supply for almost three hours prompting employees to go out of their office.
