European-Ombudsman triple contests reset to July 29

The Essay Writing, Slogan-Making and On-the Spot Poster making contests sponsored by the European Commisson and Ombudsman Philippines have been extended to July 29, 2005. All entry forms and manuscripts on the contests shall be submitted to Dr. Rodolfo P. Gumabong, care of Museo Iloilo, Bonifacio Drive, Iloilo City, or directly to the office of the Ombudsman, Dept. of Agriculture Compund, Velez St., Cebu City, on or before July 29, 2005. Interested parties can also call at (033) 3298546. All the entry forms are available in all schools and governement offices.

Handsome prizes await lucky winners. Here are the prizes for regional and national winners: On-the Spot Poster Making Contest-Regional: 1 st Prize, P15,000; 2 nd Prize, P10,000; 3 rd Prize, P5,000. National: 1 st Prize, P30,000; 2 nd Prize, P15,000; 3 rd Prize, P10,000.

The On-the Spot Poster Making Contest will be held on August 4, 2005 at the Iloilo Business Hotel, Diversion Road, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The contest will begin at 9:30 AM. The contests are open to all students, government personal and general public.
