Iloilo Intergrated Lions Club holds medical-dental clinic

Iloilo Integrated Lions Club (IIL-Club) sponsored a half-day free Medical-Dental Clinic to the residents of Sinikway, Tabucan, Mandurriao last May 21. It includes Pediatric Check-up, Dental Extraction, Cholesterol Count, Blood Sugar Content and ECG (Electrocardiogram) check up.

There were 224 recipients of the free medical-dental clinic. 47 patients were given a free Pediatric check-up, 26 were into dental extraction, 71 have their sugar level checked, 30 went into ECG check-up and 50 have Cholesterol count. Iloilo Integrated Lions Club also gave free medicines and powdered milk for children and some lactating and pregnant women.

The activity was also in collaboration with Iloilo Doctors College Dental and Medical Students, Western Visayas Medical Center and some Pharmaceutical companies who also shared their time and service.

Officials of the Iloilo Integrated Lions Club present were Pres.Bernadeth Rosales, Second VP Mark Mansueto, Secretary Faustino Yuson III, Treasurer Romeo Baes, Lion Tamer Chat Abello, PRO Marcos Villalon, Board of Directors Armando Abaldonado and Ed Salvador. Also present were IIL-Club past presidents Alberto Zulueta, Atty. Eden Anthony Tan. Club members present were Josette Jardiolin, Milagros Jardiolin, Luis Salazar, Gaudencio Arancillo, Dra. Jocelyn Santerva, Mia Lopez and Evelyn Tan and this writer.

The Physicians who offered their services were Dra. Carmen Fegarido, Dra. Jocelyn Santerva. Dra. Leah Salazar, Dr. Amado Fuentes and Dra. Lorylie Fuentes (the attending dentist). Iloilo Doctor's College students who gave assistance to the activity were Darren Remorin, Frenche Mae Londres, Sharon Sumaylo, Precilla Saquibal and Lysa Lynn Libanan from Western Visayas Medical Center.
