Another 'typhoon' up vs. Capitol

Unable to skin alive Gov. Niel D. Tupas, Sr. and his family during the erratic and disastrous Congressional circus, the enemies of the first family have desperately devised yet another plot to storm the Tupas administration.

The forthcoming blast reportedly will be spearheaded by no less than the governor's ambitious nephew, Congressman Rolex Suplico, who, at this early, is already seething with madness to grab the coveted post of his uncle in the 2007 elections.

Suplico has forged a deal with some (so young and yet so) corrupt and overbearing anchormen from a “leading” (kuno) radio station to mobilize their devious plans. An unknown partylist congresswoman from nowhere was also utilized to hit the governor. How much? I don't know. Ask these (so young and yet so) corrupt anchormen who have made it their habit to slander almost all public officials who do not subscribe to their brand of journalism.

The silent majority is already fed up and boiling like a cauldron. They want a halt of all the zarzuela being marshaled by the forces of evil against the officials of the Iloilo provincial government. They have spoken in the May 10, 2004 elections and they feel their mandate is being ridiculed by sourgraping politicians who cannot accept defeat.

The voice of the people is the voice of God, as the saying goes. If they continue to rock the boat and spew malicious and libelous charges against the Capitol occupants, it will be God who is going to punish them for their recalcitrance. Mark my word.

Do you believe in karma? I don't think these malevolent individuals can escape the wrath of karmic justice. For several months now, they have been unloading voluminous accusations against Tupas and his family, most of them fabricated “sins” and yet Tupas never stooped down to their dirty level. Naga pabuyayaw lang si Gob. It appears they are asking some immoral and illegal favors which Tupas had shot down and they felt bad.

These are the kinds of anchormen and relatives who will give you hell once you are in the higher position because they will really press for their personal agenda and call you names once you reject their demands.

Meanwhile, because of the overwhelming success of the 2005 Palarong Pambansa, praises and accolades from the 17 participating regions have been heaped on the Tupas administration for the excellent hosting of the province.

The more he is being stabbed in the back and bludgeoned by his jealous political enemies, the more blessings are coming Tupas' way.

PERFECT WARNING. Because of our warning here, the plan of some extortionists to launch a media attack against Mrs. Rosalie Treñas, wife of League of Cities of the Philippines President Jerry P. Treñas, was aborted.

Although there were some gutsy sycophants who had attempted to implement the doomed plans, they were exposed before they could make a fatal move. Nabuking ang mga tuso. Let's not lower our guards however because these rascals are just waiting for another opportunity to strike again.

DEFEATED POLITICIAN. I pity a defeated bet for vice mayor for he has deteriorated since he was badly walloped by his aging rival in the 2004 elections. He has not recovered from that political disaster because instead of improving his personality, he associated himself with some personalities considered as garbage in media, one of them a stow away mendicant from Capiz who uses his bulging eyes to forage for “pang kape” and stab in the back people who helped raise and nurtured him.

Many decent professionals and lawyers avoid this defeated politician because he does not act like them.

During the recent Congressional circus, this sore loser gave me a dagger look from afar. This is my only message to this poor soul: “Tell me who your friend(s) are and I will tell you who you are.”
