Me and the big streamer

There are three major airlines serving the Iloilo-Manila route, all good ones, so for me my consideration as to which one I will take is who has a better promo offer.  I was attracted by the big streamer one airline hang on its rooftop announcing a big discount on its fare.  So there I went to get a ticket.

I noted there are very few people on its lobby, compared to the other two airlines nearby. I thought they must be more efficient.

In no time my number was called.  I immediately gave my ID and have a ticket issued in my name. Without reading the ticket, I proceeded to othe Cashier's booth to pay.

When I handed the money, the Cashier told me  that I have to add P600.00 more for taxes.  When I read the ticket   I saw that there is indeed an item for it.  How come the other airlines did not have such tax in their ticket?

It was my fault.  I was trying to save money but I did not read the small print!
