CAS Alumni Homecoming set on February 18

Calling all alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences, UP in the Visayas. Please help build the CAS Promenade or student ‘tambayan' at the Miagao campus by attending our homecoming on Friday, 18 February 2005 . By joining the ‘Bingo Social' at 2:00 p.m. (UPV auditorium, Iloilo City campus), you will be able to do your part for this cause. The proceeds from the game will be added to the funds for the construction of the promenade.

Stay on at the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. for the Alumni Homecoming Dinner that will feature a show where excerpts from the play “O'Layra” will be performed. “O'Layra” is a play written and directed by Prof. Kevin Piamonte. It is based on an Antique folk tale about a sea nymph named “O'Layra” who fell in love with a mortal and took him to her underworld. Coming back from her world, he recounted his story to the outside world.
